Pooja Vaidya is one of the most successful models working all over India and Internationally. She was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra and has completed her graduation in Commerce followed with a distinction in Digital Marketing. Standing 5 foot 10 inches tall with a slender and fit body which she works on throughly, has helped her make a mark in this industry.
She always dreamt of being a business woman and running her own company but her life took a turn when she won the title of “ Best Model 2009 “ at Mood Indigo , an inter college cultural festival at IIT MUMBAI. Soon after she finished her graduation , there was no looking back . She grasped every opportunity that came her way and worked hard on herself , physically and mentally. She also participated as a contestant in a modelling based reality show called PURE MODEL MANAGEMENT ‘ FACE OF THE YEAR 2010 ‘ and was in the top 10 of this competition.
Since then she has worked with ace designers like Vikram Phadnis, Rohit Bal , Tarun Tahliani , Suneet Varma, Gaurang shah, Shyamal and Bhoomika, Phalguni and Shane Peacock, Anju Modi, Anita Dongre etc. She has trained and groomed her self over the years working with choreographer like Shakir Shaikh, Anu Ahuja , Achla Sachdev, Lubna Adams, Prasad Bidappa and many more who are fabulous mentors aswell. She has also done a couple of TV Commercials for Lux , jashn sarees, MTV , Nickelodeon, Channel V etc. And gets to walk for Fashion Weeks like Lakme Fashion Week , India International Jewellery Week, Bridal Fashion Week, India Beach Fashion Week, Bangalore Fashion Week and many more. She is currently working on projects with big production houses for web series and short films . But her love for modelling and performing on the ramp / stage will always continue. She believes that she is always learning something new everyday. Her Determination and Desire keeps her going .
